This is the community calendar for Tuesday April 14, 2009 A Portland/Multnomah Food Policy Council meeting,. a public citizen-advisory meeting about food system policy recommendations for the City of Portland and Multnomah County, will take place on Wednesday, April 15 in the Rose Room on the second floor of City Hall, 1221 S.W. PCASC is a grassroots organization working for international solidarity and immigrant rights. This is a general meeting for anyone interested in Latin American Solidarity work, local immigrant rights work or fighting free trade agreements. The Habitat for Humanity Women Build Committee meets Wednesday April 15 (Monthly on the third Wednesday) from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Portland Habitat Office, 1478 NE Killingsworth. The Women Build Committee works on all aspects of the build which includes the planning process, recruiting and managing volunteers, organizing events, and raising money.
