The media has been full of stories about populist anger over executive bonuses in recent weeks. The news of AIG's plan to distribute bonuses to the very corporate division that helped spark the current crisis set off a firestorm of angry editorials, speeches and demonstrations inside and outside the halls of government. But by focusing on the bonus issue, are Americans letting bigger problems go unresolved?
