City of Portland's Office of Equity

The city of Portland will hold a public hearing this evening to discuss the newly created ‘Office of Equity’, and to officially establish the office.  City commissioner Amanda Fritz was on KBOO this morning describing the new department. That was Portland City Commissioner Amanda Fritz, speaking on KBOO this morning. The city council has asked Portland residents for their input on the goals and priorities of the Office of Equity.  That hearing will be held at six o’clock this evening at Portland City Hall on Southwest fourth and Jefferson.
