The Alder Creek Kayak and Canoe presents Neil Schulman's, "Photography from your Boat." During this clinic, Schulman will explore ways to capture images of nature from a kayak. This event is a part of the Alder Creek free Winter Clinic Series and takes place tonight, at the Boathouse. 1515 SE Water Street from 7 to 8:30pm.

On Tuesday, The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality will host a panel discussion about placement of dredged sediment from the Willamette River at the West Hayden Island sediment placement facility. Representatives from the Oregon DEQ, the City of Portland, Port of Portland, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be available to answer questions.
This discussion will take place at 6:30pm on Tuesday at the Park Room,

Turning Points can help break the cycle of domestic violence.
Sponsored by Clackamas Women’s Services, Turning Points is a FREE 14-week program designed for women who have been abused by a spouse, partner or boyfriend. Classes meet once a week, last two hours, and are open to all women residing in Clackamas County. All materials are provided. Classes begin Tuesday, March 29 at 6:30pm. Topics include: how abusers think, tactics of abuse and control, coping with trauma, family lessons, law enforcement and the courts, partnership and independence, communication, and managing conflict.
