interview by Chris Andrae
The Forest Service has announced that it will not privatize hot springs in Mt. Hood National Forest without a period for public comment.
Late last year the forest service sparked public outcry after announcing its intentions to privatize Bagby Hot Springs.
One of the groups fighting to keep the hotsprings public is Bark, a Portland conservation group.
Air Cascadia’s Chris Andrae spoke with Alex Brown, the executive director of Bark.
She asked him what his organization has accomplished so far, and what comes next in their fight to save the hot springs.- KBOO
