The Red & Black Cafe is celebrating their 10th birthday! The Cafe is a worker-owned, democratically managed cooperative with an all-vegan menu. Their birthday bash starts at 5pm this Saturday the 23rd at se 12th and Oak in Portland and will feature performences by  Mike 25, Seth Martin, Lee Corey Oswald and Nun Chuksky.

Laughing Horse Book Collective, Portland's oldest radical bookstore, is hosting a sidewalk sale to benefit the store. There will be Household items, sporting goods, used books and loads more, all for cheap!
