Location: N Mississippi Ave - 5 blocks bounded by N Fremont and N Skidmore (closed to vehicular traffic)

The Mississippi Avenue Street Fair is a community-building event that began nine years ago as the Boise-Eliot Multicultural Fair. The street fair celebrates the neighbors, businesses and organizations that make their home in the Mississippi Avenue neighborhood - honoring history and tradition while embracing diversity and sustainability.

FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS

Four Stages Of Entertainment: Over two dozen acts performing music, dance, poetry

120 Vendors: A diverse assortment of local market vendors

High Noon Parade: Come one, come all!

Boise-Eliot Kids Corner: Interactive games, dunk tank, kids crafts, bingo, and more

Grandfather’s Rib-Off Competition: NeighborhoodGrandfather” Leonard Smith’s annual contest

The Green Block: Devoted to organizations and vendors involved in sustainable, green industry

MSF Planning Meetings are at Albina Youth Opportunity School (AYOS), 3710 N. Mississippi Ave. (at Beech), from 6:00-7:00pm, on the second Monday each month. Meal provided for hard-working volunteers thanks to Mississippi Ave. restaurants. (meets just before the BNA Community Meeting)
