Sad News: Nathan Behensky

UPDATE: KBOO received word on 1/28/16 that Nathan has died. We offer our deepest condolences to all of his family and friends, and consider ourselves fortunate to have known Nathan during the time he volunteered at KBOO.

------------------------

1/3/16 - A KBOO volunteer has been listed as a missing person with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s department.
Nathan Behensky is twenty-something, Caucasian with shorter brown hair and dark blue eyes, about six feet tall and very slim.
Family and friends describe him as approachable and noticeably polite.
He was wearing a rust-colored windbreaker when he was last seen on New Years Eve, at his family home on the Willamette River off of Highway Thirty between Portland and Scappoose.
Family members said that Nate got a ride home from a New Years party, then went outside for a cigarette following a brief argument.
He did not return, though his phone was on for two hours afterward, and left behind his medications.
He has an EBT card which has not been used since his disappearance.
Anybody who picked up a person matching Nathan’s appearance on Highway 30 in the early morning of January first, or who recognizes Nathan, is encouraged to call either:
…the Multnomah County Sheriff at 503-988-4300,
…Nathan’s father Michael Behensky at 971-409-7567
…or KBOO’s front desk at 503-231-8032.

People are also encouraged to print and post the missing person poster accompanying this poster.
