For decades the Friends Committee on National Legislation has served as a public advocacy arm of the Society of Friends, leading the way on issues related to peace and justice, providing guidance and options for legislators and persons of conscience.  We will talk on this episode of Radiozine with Bridget Moix about the war in Gaza, nuclear policy, racial justice, reproductive freedom, and the history and practice of Quakers as it pertains to developing a practice of peacemaking and discernment.

Bridget Moix is the fifth General Secretary of the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL). She also leads two other Quaker organizations, affiliated with FCNL: Friends Place on Capitol Hill and FCNL Education Fund. She is a passionate Quaker peace advocate, activist, and mother.
