A new group, Time Does Not Fit the Crime, has brought new energy to the fight to reform Measure 11, Oregon’s mandatory minimum sentencing law. Hear organizers Patty Youngblood and Barb Dickerson as they discuss reasons to reform Measure 11 at an event held September 19, 2015. Oregon Senator Chuck Riley (D-15) also speaks about the need to eliminate the American Legislative Exchange Council’s (ALEC) influence on Oregon politics. Also presenting at the event was criminal defense attorney Jesse William Barton, hear his interview with host Karen James on Oct 19, 2015 on Prison Pipeline.
