Description:

Erin Yanke and Moe Bowstern are proud and excited to announce the release of Xtra Tuf #6.75: Report From Uyak Bay, an Audiozine, featuring gorgeous artwork by Alec Icky Dunn and funding from RACC that allowed us to get fancy covers from the good people at Stumptown Printers as well as pretty cds from CDPDX.

The zine features a 2014 update on a 1997 story of the accidental death of a Kodiak Brown Bear which happened when I was beach seining in Uyak Bay, rounded out with recent interviews from the people involved, and interspersed with sounds I collected on a JC Penny tape recorder on the day that the bear actually died. It's really different from anything I've done, and I'm thrilled with the results. Erin Yanke produced and co-directed the project and we recorded it all right on Burnside at the Mighty BOO (90.7fm).

We are celebrating with THREE Bear events in THREE Portland neighborhoods during the THIRD week of the THIRD MONTH.
