Out Loud welcomes Wild Planet Radio, and Christopher Lord, author of The Edwin Drood Murders
Tonight we welcome Wild Planet Radio, one of the new low power FM radio station in Portland. In the second half of the show, Dan Johnson interviews local author Christopher Lord.
Tune in to hear from Thomas and Bobby, the creative masterminds behind the new queer radio station, and we share some recent samples from their online streaming station.
Music breaks from:
- We start the show with Heather Perkins song Can, from the compilation cd 'Voices from the Siren Nation'. The 2013 Siren Nation festival is Nov 7-10 in Portland.
- Wild Planet Radio made us a mix tape! But on a CD, and it's a mix of content from their online streaming station. They also brought us the next two songs, from local musicians featured on Wild Planet Radio.
- Logan Lynn : Tramp Stamps and Birthmarks
- Magic Mouth : Swampy Seconds
Next we hear from Dan Johnson, who interviews Portland author Christopher Lord. They discuss The Edwin Drood Murders, the second novel in Lord's Dickens Junction mystery series.
