  • Bill Resnick Continues his disscusion about post Apartheid South Africa with historian and activist John Saul in part 2 of an interview originally aired on December 9th. They discuss the response of poor blacks as they struggle against the consolidation of corporate power, poverty and mass unemployment.
  • Jan Haaken interviews Derek Hook, a South African psychologist teaching at Birkbeck College in London. He also teaches at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and is a lead researcher with the Apartheid Archive Project in South Africa. They will discuss his recent book, (Post)Apartheid Conditions: Psychoanalysis and Social Formations,  focusing on the Black Consciousness Movement and its ongoing influence on South African youth, as well as the work of Steve Biko, one of the leaders of the BC movement, and his contributions to a psychology of social change. 
  • Bill Resnick interviews American Historian Paul Buhle. They discuss his latest graghic book Radical Jesus
  • Tom Becker reads John Bellamy Fosters'  The Epochal Crisis. Foster argues that Capitalism has entered an Epochal crisis that is unsustainable and with consequences as yet unknown.
