8--SITE/TEXT--Joyce Mansour's collection due out June 1 from Black Widow

A number of emails have come in concerning a desire to work with the
writings of Joyce Mansour.  Black Widow Press had originally
scheduled the release of their collection of her writing for
April.  I just went to their site to see what was going on and
they have now moved the release date to June 1.  Powell's still
shows nothing on their site and Amazon shows the book but lists it as
unavailable.

Black Widow Press has a very nice collection of books which you might want to examine.

5--SITE--Raymond Queneau site

Naturally a Swedish website has created the

100,000,000,000,000 poems of Raymond Queneau, in which

14 sonnets can be mixed line by line, in French,

English, and Swedish, and hit "new poem"

100,000,000,000,000 times for the complete series.

I'll start printing them out, be done in 275,000 years

or so.

1--NEWS--WELCOME, and so we begin ...

WELCOME TO "THE DOMAIN OF THE
MARVELOUS"

No longer is it a matter of the narrow
roads where traditional beauty is offered in its clarity and
obviousness to the admiration of the crowds. The crowds were taught
the victory of intelligence over the world and the submission of the
forces of nature to man.

Now it is a question of seizing and
admiring a new art which leaves humankind in its true condition,
fragile and dependent, and which nevertheless, in the very spectacle
of things ignored or silenced, opens unsuspected possibilities to the
artist.

0--TEXT/CALL--Opening Night Live(Aug. 27@7p) Cabaret script and cast call

This is the text for the Cabaret which will be performed live Wed,
Aug. 27 at 7p to open the dada/surrealism festival and which will be
produced by Richard Francis.

There are two “pre-made” events
within the cabaret which I am open to having be produced by anyone
else who wants to take them on ... or I will. Those two events also
need cast and are open to anyone interested.

The 273 numbered lines will be drawn by
lot the night of the show and are open to all listeners and volunteers
who wish to come down to the station to participate and arrive by 5:45p
sharp.
