33--TEXT--FERNANDO ARRABAL's one act play "THE TWO EXECUTIONERS"

Hi gang,

Here's a tough little piece by Fernando Arrabal, basically one long torture sequence.

While I was transcribing, I contemplated "adjusting" some of Benoit's closing words to his brother to sound more like some of the contemporary excuses being made for not further exposing the Bush/Cheney torture spree, but decided to leave the dialogue as is.

If you do decide to adjust the dialogue along those lines yourself, do keep it "familial" and working within the context of the play.

32--TEXT--OLIVERIO GIRONDO Poetry #2--Prose Poems

Hi,

This is a very small collection of GIRONDO's Prose Poems which are available individually or as a group.  This will probably be the last GIRONDO, at least for a while.

There is one more 2-voice piece I'm contemplating scripting but I'm also interested in trying to voice it entirely myself.  And at that point I will have extracted all of the material I found of interest in the book "Scarecrow & other anomalies".

You can borrow the book if you are interested in exploring the material I left behind.

Enjoy.

31--TEXT--Excerpts from OLIVERIO GIRONDO's "SCARECROW Accessible To All"

Hi folks,

Here's some more marvelous GIRONDO.  Throwing these out there to be taken on individually as monologues or as short multi-voiced theater pieces.  Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

30--NEWS--Schwitters Fairy Tales ALL TAKEN & some quick thoughts on process

Hi gang,

You might have noticed the flurry of emails and that I am ending up with more than one person committing to the same piece.  All of the Schwitters are committed to at this point, with Rabia, Rolf, and Luke being the first takers to get emails in to me and snatch everything up.

I'm operating on a first email in, first serve basis to "officially" hand the piece to the first one in.  But do know that you are quite free to work on something already taken if you really want it and have some ideas you want to try ... it just might air on a later DLVT so that we don't have two versions of the same thing on the same show (unless they are radically different).

29--NEWS--Rolf takes on WHAT IS HAPPINESS and LUKE does happiness

Hi gang,

I just had a pile up on commitments so need to get an email out before any more happen.  On first come/first get basis Rolf is taking on WHAT IS HAPPINESS (I had actually approached him about it a few days back) and Luke is committed to HAPPINESS.

That leaves one Schwitters Fairy Tale left which is THE STORY ABOUT THE RABBIT.

And there are a couple of the Codescru.

Thanks and I hope nobody got screwed up on this.

28--NEWS--Schwitters/Codrescu recordings

Howdy,

In the past few days I've sent out a number of emails and as some contained large attachments you might not have received them.

Audio files of Kurt Schwitters Merz Fairy Tales went out as #25A through to 25E

and

Audio files of Andrei Codrescu reading a poem and a excerpt from his new book went out as #27A and #27B.  I neglected to include the running times with those two emails.  The poem runs 2:49 and the prose readings is 10:02.

If there was something you did not receive and want to have do let me know.

thanks

27--CALL--Audio of Codrescu reading poem seeking additional audio/ideas

Available only to those participants of Desolo Luna Vox Theatrum who are signed on the the email site.  If you would like to be signed on to receive the emails send an email to DLVTheatrum@yahoo.com.
