Host Julie Bernard interviewed local artists Remedios Rapoport and Jacquelyn Bond about  Women’s Art: Women’s Vision at the Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center.  Celebrating the theme of 2008’s National Women’s History Month Remedios Rapoport takes the traditional Argentinean art of Filete (elaborate sign painting) and puts a contemporary message for empowerment and action into each piece. She will present her work, act as guest curator and mentor an emerging artist also working with women and political empowerment.
