Interview with Kristina Flores, Greenpeace, on the icebreaker about to get its hull patched here

Today We Revisit ...another Shell disaster - 'Shellarious, but for the safety and leal issues. So it seems Shell's Arctic Dreams hit another "uncharted shoal"...

First, it doesn't matter whether the shoal is charted or uncharted: navigation equipment - which is mandatory on the brridge - should be operating sonar, sweeping the oceam floor, looking for things like, Well, "uncharted shoals".
And Secondly, if an "uncharted shoal" can rip this ship a new one, what's the ice going to do to it?
Abnd Finally, IT'S AN ICEBREAKER!!! It has a thick double-walled steel hull. You cannot simply stick a patch on it and head off for the most dangerous iceberg-infested water in the world - waters in which Shell has already come to grief a number of times now...

That said, Have a liten back to the show..
