Remembering Stonewall, a radio documentary by David Isay. KBOO presents our annual broadcast of this documentary that was first broadcast in 1989, on the 20th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. It is the first documentary - in any medium- to tell the story of the 1969 riots that started with a police raid of a gay bar and ended with a revolution and the transformation of a hidden subculture into a vibrant political movement.
