Representatives from the Independent Police Review Board, the Citizens Review Committee, Portland Copwatch and the Northwest Constitutional Rights Center presented their assessments of the Independent Police Review board - I-P-R, and discussed the recently-issued report and recommendations presented by independent consultant Eileen Luna-Firebaugh.

An undercover video made by the Humane Society of the US has brought about the largest beef recall in the United States. The video shows crippled and sick animals being pushed along the ground with forklifts, among other things.Now, the scramble is on to find out if any of the meat is still destined for school children's lunches.The U.S. Department of Agriculture yesterday ordered the recall of one hundred forty three million pounds of beef that came from Chino-based Westland/Hallmark Meat Company.
