We are happy to announce that there will also be a Trans' and Womyn's Action Camp gathering of eco-activists, who are also working to bring down patriarchy. This will be a 6 day training and workshop event in the Cascadia bio-region from June 20th-26th, 2009. We need workshop presenters!

As you may know, organizing for the Earth First! Round River Rendezvous 2009 in Cascadia has already begun.

Rebecca, co-host of Gender Blender (usually the third Tuesday of the month from 6:00 to 7:00 pm) asked Ruth to define her mission and to tell what meeting with the prisoners has taught her this year. They shared examples that show people CAN change and the re-entry programs DO make a difference for those who want to come out of incarceration as better folks than they were during their criminal days.
