She'll do a live, on-air chicken training demo and will answer callers' questions about chickens. Growing Gardens will be there too. They sponsor the yearly "Tour De Coops," a tour of backyard chicken coops in Portland. And: chicken stories, chicken songs, and other surprises await you.

Postal workers' food drive on Mother's Day weekend

It’s also when the US Postal Service mounts the country’s largest annual canned food drive, to fight hunger by filling local food bank shelves just before kids get out of school for the summer.
Oregon’s goal is one point seven five million pounds this Saturday.
