Pinball Keith stopped in for a short visit.  And even though she was laid up with a cold Miss Mona called in to recommend some classic horror movies for the whole family to watch. Which  included Black Sunday, with Barbra Steele, The Scarlet Claw, and a new set of Vincet Price movies that are now availible. Fortunato even found time to play a great Lou Reed performance, and a few Halloween themed songs.

And, Miss Mona also stopped by to give us a review of the recent remake of the horror classic 'Carrie', that is now playing. She also told us about some interesting film events that are coming up. All this and we still managed to raise a few bucks for KBOO. We'd like to thank all those who called in both this week and last to help keep KBOO on the air!

We talked about his upcoming appearances around the Pacific Northwest, his music background growing up in the blues/folk scene in L.A., and even about tuning guitars and the different types of woods used in making the instruments. But because we were a bit carried away with our show of Movie Soundtracks and TV Themes, we could only air part of the interview. This is the whole discussion with music inserts. And, Dorian said he'd try and come by the studio for our Labor Day Cookout show on Sept.5th.
