I Take A Lot of Pride in What I Am -- Bryan & The Haggards (Eugene Chadbourne) from the album MERLES JUST WANNA HAVE FUN
(that was just sort of inspired by the Noontime Jamboree)

TODAY'S MONDAY SAMPLER IS DEDICATED TO THE JUMPIN, INDOMITABLE SPIRIT OF DON MANNING---
1. EQUINOX - John Coltrane (McCoy Tyner-piano, Elvin Jones-drums & Steve Davis-bass)
2. ORNITHOLOGY - Charlie Parker (Fats Navarro-tp, Bud Powell-p, Curley Russell-b, and Art Blakey-d)- at Birdland, 1950

LIVE in Studio One-- THE SHIVAS
LIVE in Studio Two-- AMANDA RICHARDS
LIVE in Studio One-- CHELSEA (aka Voe Viona?)

ROBOT - The Plastics
BIMBO - Yello

LIVE in Studio One-- AMANDA RICHARDS does a few more songs
insanely short interview with GILAD ATZMON (like Amy Goodman- "So, Gilad, i realize you just came off a train and were whisked straight over here to KBOO--can you tell us what youre here speaking about regarding what you call "the cognitive divide" between the US, Israel and Palestine? You have 30 seconds.."..."umm, well there is essentially cognitive elitism dividing-" "Sorry,we're gonna have to leave it there. Good night folks!")
Berlin - Gilad Atzmon & The Orient House Ensemble (from the CD Songs of The Metropolis)

sorry, Don...more bebop next time
