Dmae features three staged readings starring African American actresses. First we hear about S. Renee Mitchell's new play Ophelia in Oblivion, a tale of surviving family trauma. Also featured is Bonnie Ratner's Hazardous Beauty about two writing partners in a memoir class and Deception by Nancy Moss who will talk about her play about a young biracial African-American  woman passing white in 1880s Portland.

All were featured in Dmae's special yearlong project Migrations which features immigrant and refugee artists.
