Also featured is Bonnie Ratner's Hazardous Beauty about two writing partners in a memoir class and Deception by Nancy Moss who will talk about her play about a young biracial African-American  woman passing white in 1880s Portland.

All were featured in Dmae's special yearlong project Migrations which features immigrant and refugee artists. He tries to cool the fires of global conflict by advocating compassion, loving speech and deep listening. Hanh was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Martin Luther King Jr.
