Accomplishments since then include: 1st place in the 1996-1998 Minnesota Voyageur 50 Mile Trail, Western States 100-Mile (1st place 7 years straight 1999-2005), Badwater Ultramarathon (135 miles in Death Valley, 1st place in 2005 & 2006), U.S. record holder for longest distance in 24 hours (165.7 miles in 2010). KBOO reporter Jennifer Kemp spoke with Blair Bobier of the Pacific Green Party for the evening news. Bobier contests Oregon Secretary of State Kate Brown's decision to bar Green Party candidates from running on the Oregon State ballot. Bobier objects, saying that the Green Party has in the past received more than 1% of votes, legitimately qualifying the party to run candidates on the ballot. The Pacific Green Party has also maintained the necessary numbers of voters allow their candidates to remain on the ballot. Bobier sees the issues as a larger one of democracy and freedom of choice for voters.
