Former KBOO News Director Robert Jefferson reports from Japan

KBOO's former PM News and Public Affairs Director (2003- 2005), Robert Jefferson, has been working for the last 4 years in Japan at NHK, Japan's public broadcasting station, in Tokyo.  Since the earthquake and tsunami hit, Robert has been using social media to help get the word out, share information and organize relief efforts.

He is featured in this article discussing the use of social media to organize following the disaster.

You can hear Robert Jefferson describe the earthquake in this interview with former KBOO volunteer Rob Manning on OPB, in which he says he felt his car lift up off the street, and felt like he was "on the open ocean being tossed about in a gale force wind".
