Tonight's featured artisit is N'Dea Davenport, one of the original members of the Brand New Heavies. I'll showcase her versatility and verve from the cds The Brand New Heavies and her self entitiled release N'Dea Davenport.

Nat King Cole is channeled by new artists on Re: Generations; an irregular but loving and listen-able homage. The cd has Natalie and Dad together again. Some good things don't end! Listen and hit me back with your thoughts.

Electronica and symphonic orchestration flow through Jeff Mills on Blue Potential. The two disk set features live recordings with Jeff and the Montpellier Philharmonic Orchestra, and a disk with interviews, a concert, documentary and tutorial.

I had a dream a few nights ago that I was walking around a non-descript large city, and stopped to look at a store window where there was a news broadcast playing on a TV (I think this is actually out of a scene in the movie "Splash" or maybe "Being There").

On the screen flashed a picture of Exene Cervenka (singer for the band X) and the newscaster said that she had died earlier that day. I just stood there, flabbergasted. As it was sinking in, a woman came and stood beside me. I don't remember if she said her name or not, but I knew that this was Exene's sister. I talked to her for awhile, can't remember specifically what was said though. And then woke up.
