FCC show excerpt

program:
Ubu Hour
program date:
Mon, 05/02/2011

An exerpt from the infamous FCC show, which originally ran in Feb 2007 (when the FCC jacked up the fines for indecency and profanity) and then re-broadcasted for May 2011.. What we have here is basically the beginning of the show, where the performers are asking the FCC agents who are monitering the show what they can or can not do... ie what is the difference between indecency (which is permitted after 10 pm) and obscenity (which is not premitted at any time) .. and what are the seven deadly words...

The Crapture

program:
Ubu Hour
program date:
Mon, 05/02/2011

The C-Rapture...or should it be called the Crap-ture...  This is an excerpt from the Kapitalist Manifesto, and orginally aired back on July 4th 2005 as part of a "Patriotic Show" and recycled for the May 2011 show...  The ocean levels are rising, the environment is turning toxic, but certain people in power don't care.. they have another plan, while the rest of us get LEFT BEHIND....

Jet of Blood

program date:
Mon, 08/30/2010

A radio-theater dramatization of Antonin Artaud's short surrealist play, JET OF BLOOD (also translated as SPURT OF BLOOD)  written in 1925... Artaud presents a fantastic temporal spectrum of creation and destruction speeded up and slowed down, like a phonograph record. Associating gluttony and lust, sex and violence, even innocence and swinishness, The Jet of Blood attacks the senses with bizarre sights and sounds as it reaches toward our subconscious impulses and fears.

The play was adapted for radio by Rolf Semprebon and performed by Rolf, Zasus Sweetlips, G Violetta, Rascho, Dave Slacker, Jeff, Stella, and Christie.

In a far future, 566 hundred year old marshal, Justin Godfrey Holmes, and the colonists on a distant planet brace for the many dangers unleashed by a massive storm. Besides the normally hostile, native animals of the planet, now driven out of the woods and rivers by the wide spread flooding, the colonists themselves start to turn on each other.

3D Radio presents This Moment of the Storm, a classic science fiction tale written by Roger Zelazny, and first published in the June 1963 issue of The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction.  Featuring Woody Creek, Mrs White, and Fortunato.
