Join DJ Sesqui from Astral Traveling this Saturday, April 4 from 6:30-8:00 pm for an interview with Bernard Purdie. We will be joined in studio with this great musical legend along with Standing 8, Justin from "Hall of Records" and DJ Nealie Neal to discuss Purdie's experiences being one of the most recorded funk drummers of all time. We will be dusting off some old classics as well as playing some of his latest cuts. Tune in for an exciting evening of great jazz, soul and funk music.
As promised, the show was packed with TONS of surprises - in-studio guest Mick Schafer of Tree Top Tribe; featured in-studio guest Will Redwood, who chatted with us about his artistic melding of poetry and visual art AND treated us to a reading of his poem"A Bird Song" now available as a picture book!
