With releases on NativeState, Proboscis, Interchill, Muti, and Sonic Dragon (Hong Kong) in 2007 alone VibeSquad is quickly emerging as a top producer in the west coast US electronic music scene. Both 2007 EPs "Return of The Pudding People" & "Songs to Accompany Dance Move: The Worm" have been making there way around the globe showing up in DJ’s sets and causing serious mayhem on dancefloors. Interviews and New Tracks from ELIOT LIPP

Eliot Lipp didn’t choose to become one of the most looked to artists in contemporary electronic music, but somehow, Lipp’s sound, one that uses vintage gear to create a unique take on Hip Hop and House, has quickly garnered the respect among the industry’s most influential musicians and producers as well as the deep admiration among audiences worldwide.

Since being discovered by Scott Herren (aka Prefuse 73) in the mid 2000’s, and releasing albums on the cutting edge labels Eastern Developments, Mush and Hefty as well as backing the hype with a relentless touring schedule of influential live shows all over the globe, Lipp has quickly become one of the barometers for the revival of electronic music in the States.

Moodring, Live on Un|Herd, March 22

Un|Herd
with Moodring
March 22nd 2010, 10pm-11pm
KBOO 90.7fm, streaming at www.kboo.fm

It has been far too long in to the history of Un|Herd to go without the music of Moodring. You may know Mae Starr and Monte Trent from the historic Rollerball, but thats just for your convenient reference. Moodring is far more psychedelic, almost kraut-rock at times, danceable even... I can't seem to find a simple term or generic catch phrase to post their sound to, which is a good thing! So for you, just kick your feet up and relax with Moodring tonight.
