Out Loud

Out Loud is KBOO's queer culture radio show, celebrating & serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning & allied communities. We feature interviews with community groups, authors, musical talent, and anyone from the queer & allied communities. We strive to give voice to those not heard in the main stream media.

Out Loud is a community created radio show. We need volunteers to help create Out Loud. Please consider getting involved! Email us if you have any questions, or even if you just want to say 'Hi!'

Gay, Mormon and happily married? Welcome to Club Unicorn

Unicorns are mythical creatures.  So is Joshua Weed; a founding member of what he calls "Club Unicorn."  Joshua is a devout and happily married Mormon.  Oh, and one "small" thing.  He is also gay.  Earlier this year, Joshua and his wife Lolly, publicly came out on his blog.   While its not uncommon for Mormons who "struggle with homosexual attraction" to marry a member of the opposite sex, Josh says he accepted his orientation long ago.  Likewise, Lolly moved forward knowing she was marrying a gay man.  For both of them, it was a decision based on love and religous devotion, not gender or sexual orientation.

In a nutshell, it is a gender neutral bathroom finder that locates bathrooms that are gender free relative to your current location. You can search, add and share safe discreet locations. It was written by and for the trans community. It is powered by data from safe2pee. You can help build the app by downloading and adding locations in your own communities.
