Out Loud is KBOO's queer culture radio show, celebrating & serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning & allied communities. We feature interviews with community groups, authors, musical talent, and anyone from the queer & allied communities. We strive to give voice to those not heard in the main stream media.

Welcome to Our Loud Radio! On our December 17th program, we'll be chatting with staff and youth who are involved with SMYRC - Portland's Sexual Minority Youth Resource Center. SMYRC turns fifteen this year! All are welcome to join their birthday celebration. SMYRC-ers are also working on planning the upcoming Oregon Queer Youth Summit.

We're also going to check in by phone with Out Loud alumna Sasha Buchert, who is working on transgender law issues from her new base in Oakland, California.
