jewish voices for peace condemn israel

After the Israeli government declared the Gaza Strip a QUOTE ‘enemy entity’ this week, dozens of peace groups around the world have issued condemnations of the move.

Condoleezza Rice and other U.S. officials praised the Israeli gesture, which is generally seen as a setback for peace.

Locally, Jewish Voice for Peace has come out strongly against Israel’s latest move. We spoke with Will Seaman, a representative of the group:

            The U.S. Congress is about to begin Debate on the Peru Free Trade Agreement.
the House Ways and Means Committee is scheduled to vote on the agreement next Tuesday. 
US representative Earl Blumenauer (Bloom-en-our), from the third Congressional District in Oregon, sits on the committee.
