Say Hello to our New Web Graphic Designer

Categories:

KBOO's board has supported a visual redesign of our website.  To handle the task we've hired a graphic designer to assist in designing a new Drupal theme for our CMS website.

We were happy to hire Kevin Fitzpatrick for the position, as he brings with him professional experience with corporate clients paired with a fun, creative imagination that is outside the box.  You can view his portfolio and live examples of his work at http://www.kevinfitz.com and also make sure to check out the illustration he made for KBOO on the wall in the lobby.

Do You Twitter?

We do!  In our "tweets" not only do we let you know whats coming up and announce when we've uploaded a great podcast, but we're also giving away tickets!  Follow us on twitter here.

By the time some of you read this, a new visual update should be live. In it, our main navigation menu has moved to the top of each page. This menu includes links to some new pages, including new pages focusing on music, public affairs, podcasts, playlists, and media training.

Website Errors

Categories:

In the past week, the KBOO website has experienced a few hiccups of data loss, some of which we have been able to recover.  The lastest episode happened sometime in the past few days and you may notice that some of the webpages you were working on have lost their recent edits or may not exist at all if they were created recently.

Roger has been dealing with this since the first instance happened and has been communicating with our host about the issue.  For now, I would say go ahead and continue to use the website but know that this issue has not been resolved.

Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.

Website

Roger upgraded our web hosting some time ago to a more dedicated machine and overall, the speed and performance of the website has improved and been more dependable. There have been a few remaining errors with playlists and the splash page we created for the drive, but nothing too major.
