Elise Wagner was Eva Lake's guest on July 8th. She had a show at Butters Gallery.

Theresa Weil is doing a project called "Because She Cares," paintings of leaders in the non profit world. She was our guest in July 1, 2014.

Eva Lake  interviewed Sean Healy on June 17th. He currently has a show at the Elizabeth Leach Gallery.

Pat Boas shows "Record Record" at the Marylhurst Art Gym

Pat Boas opens a show at the Maryhurst Art Gym this week. The artist makes work that explores and examines language in context—letter by letter, word by word, image by image. Record Record includes four series that comment in very quiet ways on the text and images in The New York Times and a new series of digital works What Our Homes Can Tell Us that captures language found in the artist’s home and places of importance to her extended family.

Guest host Wendy Webb speaks with LA Street Phantom aka Joey Krebs, a longstanding force in the L.A. street art scene.

The Denizen Gallery @Milepost 5 and the Plum Bum Gallery brought Krebs to Portland to perform "You Don't Know What Art i$” for the closing of his visual art show “Blacklisted and Banned.”  He premiered the piece on this installment of Art Focus.

Joey Krebs, media activist, street artist, performer, and visual artist, along with his collective ARTSAVESLIVES, calls the commodification of "street art" into question. Recently Krebs was one of the protesters of the censorship of the 2011 MOCA graffiti show.

LA Street Phantom aka Joey Krebs was cover artist for the punk-rock-rap group, Rage Against the Machine, for their first platinum album -- “The Battle of Los Angeles.” He was the creative director of two Rage Against the Machine music videos, including the MTV award-winning “Bulls on Parade,” and “Renegades of Funk.” These videos feature Phantom’s signature artwork, the silhouette or shadow, which serves as the archetype for the Public Everyman.
