On Tuesday April 15, 2104, at 11.30am Joseph Gallivan hosts a discussion between the architectural writer Brian Libby and the architects Peter Meijer and Becca Cavell. They will talk about the Portland Building, Memorial Coliseum and the GasCo building on Highway 30, and whether there is a case for preserving such Portland landmarks.  
 
Joseph Gallivan has been a reporter since 1990. He has covered music for the London Independent, Technology for the New York Post, and arts and culture for the Portland Tribune. He is the author of two novels, "Oi, Ref!" and "England All Over" which are available on Amazon.com

On Tuesday March 18, 2014,  at 11.30am Joseph Gallivan interviews artist Heather Watkins. Her new show is called "Recurrent Work" and runs at the Art Gym at Marylhurst University near Lake Oswego until April 2.
Watkins talks about her process, her experimentation and her sense of what the viewer gets form looking at her work.  
Much of the work is created by soaking cotton cord in black ink and exploring the marks it makes on paper and acetate. There are also installations of the dried cord attached to the walls, and other abstract works ("drawings") of silver and black pigment on paper.

Host Julie Bernard interviewed local artists Remedios Rapoport and Jacquelyn Bond about  Women’s Art: Women’s Vision at the Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center.  Celebrating the theme of 2008’s National Women’s History Month Remedios Rapoport takes the traditional Argentinean art of Filete (elaborate sign painting) and puts a contemporary message for empowerment and action into each piece.
