Since 2003, Sublime Frequencies has released cds and lps of music discovered and recorded in exotic and obscure locales around the globe and Hisham has been responsible for many of the African releases. Its safe to say that some of the groups he has brought to light such as Groups Doueh and Bombino have gone on to tour in Europe and the states. His most recent travels took him to Niger and Burkina Faso and he will share with us the sounds he found there! Some of this material will be aired here for the first time and will then find its way into upcoming Sublime Frequencies releases...
